CCS (CONDUCT) Rule 1964

– are a set of rules that prescribe the code of conduct for the government servants in the service of the Union of India. These rules aim to ensure that every government servant maintains absolute integrity, devotion to duty, and does nothing that is unbecoming of a government servant. The rules cover various aspects of the official and personal conduct of the government servants, such as taking part in politics and elections, joining associations, communicating with the media, accepting gifts, engaging in private trade or employment, investing and borrowing money, acquiring and disposing property, and so on
