National Pension System (NPS)
a voluntary and market-linked scheme that allows you to build a corpus for your golden years. NPS is regulated by the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) and is open to all Indian citizens between 18 and 70 years of age1. You can choose from various investment options and fund managers to suit your risk profile and return expectations. You can also switch between funds and managers as per your convenience. NPS offers you tax benefits under Section 80C and Section 80CCD of the Income Tax Act, 1961. You can claim a deduction of up to ₹1.5 lakh for your contributions to NPS under Section 80C.
